Here are some interesting numbers about the Minneapolis area around game time:

1,055,000 people attended the 10-day festival preceding the game

235,000 people attended the festival on Saturday, February 3, the day before the game

48 bands/artists performed at the festival

1.4 million people visited the Mall of America during the ten-day festival

61,000 passengers went through Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on Monday, February 5

67,612 people attended the actual Super Bowl game
