Bosch and numerous customers experienced a successful Track & Trace event in Waiblingen
Seamless traceability is more important than ever for pharmaceutical producers – as an Track & Trace in-house event on January 31 showed at Bosch Packaging Technology’s Waiblingen site. 20 participants took the opportunity to discuss the challenges of anti-counterfeiting with pharmacists and Bosch experts.
Solutions put to the test
During the expert event in Waiblingen, visitors received a 360 degree overview of the Track & Trace topic, and were able to test current Bosch solutions during live demonstrations: from flexible CPS modules with Tamper-Evident labeler for safety seals and CPA modules to the CPI software, which enables reliable data generation and storage, as well as safe transfer. Bosch offers machines and software either as single solutions or as complete system from a single source for all process levels.
Multifaceted lecture program
The event was rounded off by several expert lectures. Bernhard Wittmann, PhD, from the Austrian pharmaceutical company MoNo chem-pharm Produkte GmbH spoke about serialization and his experiences with implementing a CPS system from Bosch, as well as the challenges that need to be overcome. Thomas Brückner, Member of the Board of securPharm e.V., one of Europe’s leading databases for the verification of pharmaceuticals, explained the current status of implemented securPharm connections.
After the lectures, the participants took the opportunity to address the experts with their specific questions and to discuss the challenges of Track & Trace with other pharmaceutical representatives.
