Vetter’s first U.S. facility is now fully operational; first to use Bosch’s new MHI 2020

October 5, 2011 — Vetter, a contract development and manufacturing organization that specializes in aseptic filling, today announced that its first U.S. facility is now fully operational. The first to use Bosch’s new MHI 2020 B fully automated vial filler, Vetter’s Chicago facility offers state-of-the-art technology and processes to support preclinical through Phase II compounds.

Slug Tester: Determine the optimal dosing disk height for any capsule size

Description
The slug tester is used to accurately determine the optimum dosing disk height for any size capsule (000, 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) relative to the product dosage required. It is also very useful in determining slug quality and simulates the transfer of the slug from the dosing disk to the lower capsule. Utilization of Bosch Peristaltic Pumps
