Latest updates on the new TPR 500 Tablet Press

Come see the newest addition to the Bosch portfolio, the TPR 500 tablet press, at the PharmaExpo show in Chicago!  The show runs November 2-5 and is at the same time and location as the PackExpo trade show at McCormick Place.

Bosch will be unveiling the TPR 500 for the first time in North America.  The machine has a small footprint with a high output of over 400,000 tablets per hour.  The TPR 500 highlights Bosch’s advances in tabletting technology, including a fully exchangeable turret for quick changeovers, torque drive for reduced maintenance, integrated die plate allowing for a 56 station turret with standard tooling, and 2 or 3-paddle feeders for optimal flowability of powders, to name a few features.  The machine comes equipped with  new state-of-the-art controls and software that ensures an intuitive user interface.

Bosch to present on single-use technology at Pharma Expo

At Pharma Expo, Bosch will give a presentation on single-use dosing technologies.

There are significant benefits to single-use technologies that have been well documented.

From September 3rd to 5th, the European Technical Coatings Congress 2014 will be held in Cologne, Germany. With the focus on “New Functions and Sustainability – Drivers for Future Coatings,” the participants will discuss issues relevant to the coatings industry. Attendees will benefit from presentations about the latest trends, technologies and innovative products.

As one highlight of the conference, Bosch’s Dr. Thomas Brinz and his colleagues will hold a presentation titled “Improving efficiency and quality by High Throughput Technologies in development of coatings” on September 4th at 11 AM. Nowadays, High Throughput Experimentation (HTE) is used more and more for the development of new coating materials, and in the presentation, Dr. Brinz will show the wide variety of formulation, application and characterization modules which are available today.  …more
