Modular semi-automatic solution for low output assembly of medical devices (with video)

Device assembly machines from Bosch are designed for assembly of — for example — standard 4-piece disposable pens or auto-injectors. The level of automation is scalable depending on the requirements and can be subsequently adapted through field modifications of the machine. Product update (with video): Bosch rotary pen assembly machine and new associated labeling unit

At Achema, Bosch Packaging Technology showcased its latest version of the rotary pen assembly machine MRA. Developed by the Bosch subsidiary Moeller & Devicon, the machine is designed to assemble medical devices such as standard four-piece disposable pens or single-shot auto-injectors. These are used, for instance, for diabetes care, the treatment of autoimmune diseases, hormone replacement therapies or emergency medicine. Because the majority of pens and auto-injectors need to be further labelled, Moeller & Devicon has recently launched a labeling unit which stands in line with the assembly machine. …more

Bosch is pleased to present our new standard semi-automatic assembly machine built for assembly of a wide range of medical devices e.g. pens, auto-injectors and infusion sets for small/medium production quantities. The machine is designed for automatic assembly of components, with feeding done either manually or in combination with automatic feeding. Bosch Packaging Highlights from the Pharmex Asia Trade Show in Thailand

Bosch Packaging recently participated in the Pharmex Asia trade show in Bangkok, Thailand.  Bosch had a full booth, displaying an FLT small-batch vial filler, Capsylon 705 capsule filler, XP 100 R&D tablet press, and a Solidlab 1 R&D fluid bed with tablet coating insert.  We had a good turnout, with delegates visiting our booth from all over the world.
