Case study: Sterilization of radioactive pharmaceuticals

Radiopharmaceuticals are special tracer substances, which, in conjunction with radionuclides, are used in the diagnostics or therapy of diseases. Given their short half-life, these must be produced “on demand” and used as soon as possible.
