Bosch Packaging Technology Pharma North America is pleased to announce Jerry Jean-Baptiste as the new Director of Pharma Liquid Sales. Jerry started working for Bosch in 1994 at our New Jersey location and transferred to Minneapolis in 1997. He has held a variety of roles over the last 25 years, including customer service manager, regional sales manager, and sales director. He brings a wealth of knowledge of our customers and the pharmaceutical industry.
Jerry is excited about his new role and is looking forward to bringing a hands-on approach to helping the Pharma Liquid Sales group meet the needs of our customers.
The FXS Combi is an advancement of the proven FXS platform for syringes and features flexible and quickly exchangeable format parts for diverse packaging types. “To fulfil our customers´ demands for higher flexibility, for a more compact footprint and for extended fields of application, we transferred the successful FXS concept to further packaging types,” explained Klaus Ullherr, senior product manager at Bosch Packaging Technology. The ability to process pre-sterilized syringes as well as vials and cartridges on a single machine has led to enthusiasm worldwide. The FXS Combi has already been manufactured for customers in Italy, India, South Korea, Indonesia, Turkey and even Australia.
Already in 2009, the Russian government built the basis for Track and Trace by releasing the law no. 381-FZ. This law regulates the fundamentals for governmental regulatory and trading activities in Russia. In 2018, Russian President Wladimir Putin signed the additional law no. 488-FZ, which mentions that serialization for all drugs and a so-called “Crypto Code” will be mandatory starting January 1, 2020. …more
